Bacon Wrapped Scallops

24 sea scallops, cleaned
12 slices of bacon, cut in half
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder

 

 
Preheat broiler.
Combine salt and pepper with garlic powder.
Wrap scallop with bacon strip and secure with toothpick.
Sprinkle salt mixture on scallop.
Place in broiler for 5-8 minutes.
