Baked Bluefish in Sour Cream

 

Serves 4-6

 

Salt & pepper

4-5 pounds bluefish

2 teaspoons Hungarian paprika

½ teaspoon marjoram

1 onion, chopped

1 green pepper, chopped

1 rib celery, chopped

¼ cup white wine

1 cup tomato sauce

2/3 cup sour cream

 

Preheat oven to 400° F.

 

Salt and pepper fish and put in shallow baking dish. Sprinkle fish with paprika and marjoram. Distribute vegetables over fish. Add wine.

 

Bake for 15 minutes.

 

Stir tomato sauce into sour cream. Spread or pour over fish and bake 10-15 minutes longer.
