Blue Cheese Dressing

 

1 pound crumbled blue cheese

1/2 quart mayonnaise

3/4 cup red wine vinegar

1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup buttermilk

3 ounces canola oil

1/8 cup sugar

1/2 tablespoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1/2 tablespoon sea salt

 

Combine all ingredients and chill.

 

Perfect over a wedge of iceberg lettuce or a classic Cobb salad.

Makes a great dip for raw vegetables, apples or buffalo wings.
