4 pork chops
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon sage
2 tart apples, cored, sliced into rings
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/2 cup hot water
1/2 tablespoon vinegar
1/4 cup seedless raisins
Brown chops in small
amount of hot oil. Sprinkle with salt and sage. Place in casserole. Top with
apple rings and sprinkle with brown sugar. Add flour to oil in skillet and stir
constantly until brown. Add water and vinegar. Cook until thick.
Add raisins. Pour
mixture over chops. Cover. Bake at 350° F for 1 hour.
