Green Bean Bundles

Even if you wouldn't dream of
serving canned green beans, try
these — they'll change your mind. Must be made the day before
serving.
Yield: 12-14 servings
15-16 strips bacon, cut in half 2
sticks (1 cup) butter
3 (16-ounce) cans Blue Lake
1 cup brown sugar
whole green beans,
drained 1/2
teaspoon garlic salt
Toothpicks
Dash of soy sauce
Wrap half-strips of bacon around bundles of about 10 green beans, using
toothpicks to secure.
Place bundles in 9x13-inch baking dish sprayed with nonstick spray.
Melt butter in saucepan and whisk in brown sugar, garlic salt, and soy sauce.
Pour sauce over bundles, cover, and marinate overnight in refrigerator.
When ready to cook, preheat oven to 350° F. Uncover and bake for 30 minutes.
