Lemon Verbena Cookies
1 cup butter
1 ½ cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 ¾ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons dry, crumbled lemon verbena leaves
Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, vanilla and lemon verbena. Sift flour, salt and baking soda in separate bowl, stir, then combine with egg mixture.
Drop from a teaspoon onto parchment covered baking sheet…
Bake at 400 degrees F for 8 – 10 minutes.
