Oriental Salad

 

Serves 4-6

 

 

8 tablespoons Slivered Almonds

2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds

1 tablespoon Margarine

1 head Cabbage, medium, shredded

8 oz. Green Onions (chopped)

1 can (11 oz) Mandarin Orange Segments

3/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 dash Accent

2 teaspoons Salt

1 teaspoon Pepper

4 tablespoon Sugar

2 teaspoons Soy Sauce

2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar

3 oz. pkg. Ramen Noodles (Oriental), including spice mix

 

 

Brown almonds and sesame seeds in margarine.  In large bowl, mix cabbage and onions together.  When almond/sesame seed mixture is cooled, mix with cabbage mixture. Fold in Mandarin orange segments.

 

For Dressing:  Combine oil, Accent, salt, pepper, sugar and vinegar, soy sauce and noodle spice mix. Pour dressing on salad as desired

 

Crush noodles and fold into salad…

 

Cover and refrigerate until serving.
