Parmesan Salad Basket

Goes great with soft lettuce textures and acidic vinaigrettes

 

 

Parmesan cheese, shredded

 

 

Heat a 10” nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle shredded Parmesan evenly across bottom. Cover bottom skillet edges lightly with cheese to provide a lacey effect.

 

Heat until disk is slightly golden underneath. Carefully remove using a spatula and your fingers.

 

Quickly drape cheese disk over an inverted water glass, golden side up, and press to form into a bowl.

 

Cooled baskets can sit several hours.
