Skillet Macaroni and Ground Beef
Serves 8
1 ˝ pounds ground chuck
8 ounces macaroni, uncooked
˝ cup onion, minced
˝ cup green pepper, chopped
2 cans [8 Oz.] tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon white pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Brown chuck in a large skillet over medium heat. Remove beef from skillet, set aside.
Sauté raw macaroni, onion and green pepper in meat juices until macaroni is golden color.
Return beef to skillet. Add tomato sauce and remaining ingredients, stir. Cover and simmer at low heat for 20 – 25 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
