Strawberries with Tequila and Black Pepper

Servings  6    

 

6            cups  strawberries -- halved

1/2         cup  orange juice

1/4         cup  tequila

  2          teaspoons  freshly ground pepper

  2          teaspoons  balsamic vinegar

              Mint sprigs -- (optional)

 

Combine the first 5 ingredients in a bowl, and toss well. Cover and chill  3 hours, stirring occasionally.

 

Serving Ideas : Garnish with mint sprigs, if desired.
